About Us

At VCS, we believe that healing happens in safe, supportive, and inclusive spaces. Our programs, service environments, and interactions are thoughtfully designed to promote positive mental health and overall well-being. We meet people where they are—creating spaces that foster comfort, dignity, and the potential for meaningful growth and change.

Our approach is rooted in trauma-informed care. We focus on people’s strengths, resilience, and lived experiences to support recovery and empowerment at every stage.

Our dedicated staff engage in ongoing professional development, ensuring that the care and support we provide are informed, compassionate, and responsive to individual needs.

VCS is a not-for-profit organization governed by a volunteer Board of Directors made up of local community members who generously share their time and expertise to guide our mission and uphold our commitment to the community we serve.
