Creston Valley Early Years Team

The Creston Early Childhood Committee provides a place for individuals and interested groups to work together to address the importance of the first six years of a child’s life. Our Team’s mission is to promote healthy early development for Creston Valley children through a network of community partnerships. We work with and support many organizations in the community.  We are committed to using over 85 percent of our funding to directly provide programs for children birth to 6 (and parents, grandparents and caregivers)!  

The goals of the team are to increase awareness and participation in quality Early Childhood development services and programs; to increase community partnerships that can improve services for young children and families in Creston; and to advocate for quality Early Childhood Development Programming in our valley.  

We are funded through the generosity of the Province of British Columbia and the Town of Creston. School District No.8 has generously provided in kind support throughout the years.
