(Wraparound/Supervised Access Programs)

POSITION SUMMARY:  Provides guidance and support to children, youth, and their families with strengths-based/trauma-informed interventions that follow a psycho-educational model.  Provides positive parenting support and/or skills in the areas of communication, coping, independent living, and social/emotional/regulation in order to reduce harm or risk factors that participants may be experiencing. 

This position is in the Wraparound and Supportive Visitation Programs.

 

WAGE:  $25.50/hr (plus benefits after completion of probation)

HOURS: 22 hrs/wk

​

START DATE: As soon as available

 

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Post- secondary diploma/certificate in relevant field and experience supporting children, youth, and families. 

  • Training in child/adolescent development, trauma-informed interventions, collaborative problem solving preferred

  • Satisfactory criminal record check

  • Valid BC driver’s license, reliable vehicle, and clear Driver’s Abstract
