Wraparound Family Services

This program supports the reduction of risk factors to increase the safety of children and youth within their families and communities. Additional objectives include:

a) Assisting parents and their children to obtain skills that will reduce the likelihood of child abuse and neglect and increase the well-being of the children and families served.

b) Supporting parents and their adolescent children to resolve conflicts, improve relationships, and avoid family breakdown.

c) Assisting youth to obtain life and independent living skills that reduce identified risk factors and increase their well-being.

d) Providing support and intervention to prevent or reduce the need for MCFD protective services.

There is no fee for this program. Funding is provided by the Ministry of Children and Family Development.
