NEW!  Seniors'  Services Supervisor

POSITION SUMMARY: The Seniors Services Supervisor supports program coordinators and their programs to provide quality service. This position provides guidance and support to staff, assists with management and administration of seniors programs, liaises with community partners and supports information dissemination regarding programming.

 

WAGE: $25.00/hour; 10-15 hours/week

 

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in relevant field preferred and 5 years relevant experience

  • Experience providing support services to seniors

  • Conflict resolution education or equivalent experience

  • Minimum 2 years’ experience in a managerial role

  • Current Criminal Record Check

  • BC Driver’s license and abstract

  • Reliable vehicle

  • Must be vaccinated

Cornerstone Clubhouse Program Coordinator

POSITION SUMMARY:   Valley Community Services is seeking applications for a permanent, part time Program Coordinator to provide and coordinate a day program. This program supports adults with persistent mental illness under the supervision of and in collaboration with a Mental Health Clinician.  This is a unique opportunity to join our organisation in a permanent, sole-charge, position.

WAGE:  25.00/hour for 16 hours/week

START DATE: ASAP

 

QUALIFICATIONS:  The successful applicant will have a combination of relevant education and experience and/or an appropriate post-secondary degree from a recognized institution (preferred), a First Aid and Foodsafe certificate (or be willing to obtain), hold a valid Class 5 BC Driver’s License, and provide a clear criminal record check. As per funding requirements all applicants must be vaccinated for COVID 19.
